Campaigns cost money. Investing in trainings sometimes too.
Is learning and offering trainings part of your grant application, feel free to reach out to us.
Here's a few general tips to find sponsors, grants or donations:
- Raising money starts with a clear explanation of what you want to achieve and what you need for that. Don't dance around it. The more specific, the better.
- Research your funder. Why does this donor or that grant give money, what is in it for them? Does that connect to your demand?
- Often times it's important to combine. A part of your own income, a part of grant A, grant B etc. Create a funding plan and share that with the grants you want to apply for.
- Are you looking for private grants? Je can find them at FindNFund. Keep in mind there's usually 4 to 6 months in between you application and the start of your project, and many grants have specific conditions and processes. Usually it's a condition to be a foundation or association.
- Have you thought about organizing a benefit or crowdfunding?
- Tip: many organizations offer courses for fundraising. It's a worth the investment.
Do you want to approach grants together with Stroomversnellers? If trainings or developing trainings is an important part of your project we're looking forward to your proposal.
