Karishma (she/her) has a background in sociology, where her drive to understand and analyse complex issues from multiple perspectives forms the foundation for creating social change. Her passion for societal challenges is reflected in her research master’s programme, in which she studies theories and methods for examining topics such as the spread of disinformation and the dynamics of polarization.

Since September, she has been working at Stroomversnellers, completing her Fair Future Generators internship at Milieudefensie. She is interested in education on online hate and climate issues. In the coming period, she will help facilitate training packages, increase Stroomversnellers’ visibility among social actors, and provide logistical support.

In her free time, she enjoys walking, reading thrillers, and watching (travel) documentaries and comedies.
