Emma (she/they) is an experienced climate activist, primarily active with Extinction Rebellion NL. As a core organiser of the large-scale “Stop Fossil Subsidies” campaign and as an action trainer, she is committed to direct action and strategic change. Her focus is on bringing different groups together to make the climate movement broader and more inclusive. This drive to connect movements led to her involvement in founding United for Climate Justice, an international network for climate justice.

Her strength lies in combining activism with a professional background in arts and culture. In her free time, she finds calm in baking vegan treats and dancing.

Since September, she has been working at Stroomversnellers, completing her Fair Future Generators internship at Milieudefensie.
